Is your student going to take the SAT or ACT?  Want to get them ready, but don't know how?  Sign up for my SAT or ACT Boot Camp.  It's 4 hours of instruction over two days for only $120.  I cover all sections of the test (math and verbal for SAT, and English, Math, Reading, and Science for ACT) as well as time management, how to use the built-in calculator, and how to prepare on your own going forward.  The Boot Camp is group tutoring, and I offer individual tutoring as well. 

I run them for groups about 2 weeks before the test they're prepping for, when there's a group who requests it (or if there are individuals I can put together into a group). The goal of the Boot Camp is to make sure students are not surprised by the format or subject matter of the test. Also to get them to practice using the built-in calculator which my last students said 'feels like cheating'. I wrap up the Boot Camp with what they should do on their own to prepare for the test. I have Boot Camps for the SAT, ACT, and PSAT.
